WATCH: Dwayne Bravo pokes fun at Kieron Pollard post dismissing him in Toronto vs Winnipeg GLT20 match
Dwayne Bravo pokes fun at Kieron Pollard: The two West Indian cricketers were seen exchanging a funny moment with each other.
During the seventh match of the first round of the ongoing Global T20 Canada League 2019 between Toronto Nationals and Winnipeg Hawks at Brampton, Hawks all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was seen poking fun at Nationals all-rounder Kieron Pollard after dismissing him.
It all happened on the last ball of the 20th over when Pollard’s attempt of playing a big shot over long on saw him getting caught by opposition captain Rayad Emrit. Just after the catch was taken, Bravo turned towards the departing batsman to perform his quintessential dance steps in a bid to tease him.
Pollard had played a vital role in helping Toronto to post a formidable 216/7 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Coming in to bat at No. 5 in the 14th over, Pollard scored his 46th T20 half-century. Before getting out, the 32-year old cricketer ended up scoring 52 (21) with the help of three fours and five sixes.
Other than Pollard, opening batsman Rodrigo Thomas (65) and Nationals captain Yuvraj Singh (45) contributed heavily. As far as Bravo was concerned, he was the pick of the bowlers for Winnipeg after registering bowling figures of 4-0-39-4.
The cliffhanger of a match that it was, it saw Hawks winning on the last ball. It was a 117-run partnership for the second wicket between Chris Lynn (89) and Sunny Sohal (58) which played a colossal role behind Hawks’ victory.
