Southampton faced Liverpool in tonight’s match and faced a defeat at the hands of the Reds, even though they played at home. Early in the match, the Saints dominated the game but failed to convert the chances.

They did not even press to take advantage of unfit Adrian, except for once, but it was too late by then. On the other hand, Liverpool took advantage of the erroneous defence of Southampton.

Additionally, it was Sadio Mane, as through his effective game-play Liverpool managed to earn three points. The Reds’ midfield was a concern but somehow, Liverpool defence recovered from the failures of midfield.

Mohamed Salah, on the other hand, had an underwhelming game, and is struggling in the race for the golden boot, but it is no doubt that the Egyptian International will bounce back in the pursuit of the trophy.

Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp’s side was able to fetch three points, and are high on confidence, as they aim to win the Premier League this season, as the Reds have not won one since decades.
