Which manager has won the most number of Premier League manager of the month as the award resumes with the new season.

Every month during the season, Premier League awards monthly awards to both players and managers for their exceptional performances during the game-weeks.

This tradition is going on since 1993/94 season, after the reformation of the English top-flight league season. Presently, the winner is determined after an online voting.

Today, the Premier league revealed its nominations for the contenders of the manager of the month and have placed both Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola in the contest, along with Brendan Rodgers and Roy Hodgson.

Jurgen Klopp seems favourite, as his team- Liverpool has won all the four matches since the start of the campaign and leads the board. On the other hand, even Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have not lost any game, and sits on the second position after they played a draw against Tottenham and dropped points.

Meanwhile, Leicester City headed by Brendan Rodgers are on the third position after playing two draws and registering two wins but losing none.

Coming to Roy Hodgson, the Crystal Palce manager has made an impressive start with his side, and because of it they lie at the fourth position, so that Hodgson can contest for the award.

Thus, before the Premier League announces its manager of the month, we bring you the list on managers who has been awarded this title most of the times.

• Alex Ferguson – 27 times
• Arsene Wenger – 15 times’
• David Moyes – 10 times
• Martin O’Neil and Harry Redknapp – 8 times
• Rafa Benitez and Pep Guardiola – 7 times
• Sam Allyrdyce and Bobby Robson – 6 times
• Kevin Keegan and Claudio Ranieri – 5 times
• Carlo Ancelotti, Roy Hodgson, Joe Kinnear, Manuel Pellgrini, Mauricio Pochettino and Gordon Strachan- 4 times

Meanwhile, there is a huge list ahead of managers who have won the award, Jose Mourinho have won it three times, and if he comes to manage a Premier League side once again, he could probably win more. Klopp has also won it three times and can make it 4.

Whereas all the mangers nominated in this list have already won the award multiple times, and one of them will further increase their tally.
