Zaheer Khan comes up with a witty response to Hardik Pandya’s birthday wish post, and with this, the Former Indian bowler wins the internet.

Former Indian bowler Zaheer Khan won the internet for the day after he gives a cheeky reply to Hardik Pandya’s birthday wish post, who is in the United Kingdom for his injury treatment.

The birthday post by Pandya was with a video, where the Indian team all-rounder smashed the ball out of boundary in a match, as Zaheer had delivered the ball.

Moreover, Pandya also included a caption in his post, where it was said, “Happy birthday Zak … Hope you smash it out of the park, like I did here.”

To this, Zaheer gave an amazing response, which probably Hardik did not see coming. Zaheer Khan thanked Hardik for his wishes, added some wit and humour in his reply and tweeted:

“Hahahaha….thank you for the wishes @hardikpandya7 my batting skills can never be as good as yours but the birthday was as good as the next delivery you faced from me in this match ??.”

Further, Zaheer Khan thanked all his fans and followers for wishing him on the occasion of his 41st birthday on Sunday as he posted a short video in which he was seen blowing out candles on his birthday cake.

However, Hardik’s tweet to wish Zaheer did not go well with the fans on the internet, as they felt that his words were disrespectful towards the Indian cricket legend. Thus, Pandya had to face outrage from the fans online.

Many schooled Pandya about Zaheer’s achievements with India including his performance in the 2011 World Cup where he took 21 wickets in the tournament and finished as the joint highest wicket-taker along with Shahid Afridi.

Pandya, who is an integral part of the Indian team during the next year’s World T20 in Australia, is expected to be out of action for the next few months as well.
