The NBA legend Michael Jordan has perhaps had the most illustrious career in the NBA. In a career spanning 15 years with the Chicago Bulls, he helped them earn 6 NBA championships.
Fans have always been crazy for MJ memorabilia and will go to any lengths to acquire objects from this legendary basketball players life. Recently, a copy of his first contract in the NBA was sold for $57,068. Here is the tweet related to it.

However, more recently, Jordan’s 1997-98 game jersey has racked up a huge figure of $240,000. He led the Bulls to victory in the season and won the NBA Finals MVP as well. This victory was also their 3rd straight NBA championship and 6th in the previous 8 years.

A few of MJs shoes have also been on auction recently. His original game-worn Nike Air Ship sneakers have recently entered the market. This is the shoe that MJ wore in his rookie year before the iconic Air Jordans.
Christie’s is auctioning off a pair of game-used Air Ship Nikes, the shoes MJ wore before Jordans in his rookie year. Estimate: $350,000. Closes Aug. 13.
