JR Smith has been providing NBA fans with quality ‘memeable’ content for almost a decade now. Every time he steps on the court, fans are looking for a moment of hilarity to ensue.

His days as an entertainer beyond his basketball skills can be dated all the way back to his New York Knicks, which carried over into his time as a Cleveland Cavalier, and he hasn’t skipped a beat on the Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James and Alex Caruso met on the sideline near half court to celebrate their lead with a chest bump. JR Smith believed he was on the receiving end of the chest bump from Alex Caruso and so jumped in the air.

However, it was apparent that the chest bump was between LeBron James and Alex Caruso so JR Smith can be seen jumping into, and out of frame, with no contact .

Undoubtedly it would have to be the moment when JR did not get a shot off in Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals and ran the ball back past the 3 point line.
