Cheteshwar Pujara dismissal: Watch Tim Paine grabs excellent catch to dismiss Pujara off Pat Cummins at the MCG
Cheteshwar Pujara dismissal: The Indian batsman became the second one to walk back to the pavilion in the first session of Day 2.
During the second day of the second Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia in Melbourne, Australia captain Tim Paine took a couple of catches in no time to peg back the visitors.
To put an end to a 61-run second-wicket partnership between Shubman Gill (45) and Cheteshwar Pujara, Pat Cummins induced a false shot from the former which was taken safely by Paine behind the wickets.
In his next over, Cummins bowled an even better delivery which ended up taking the edge of Pujara’s bat whilst he was looking to defend the ball. With the ball going towards the right of Paine and more importantly dying on him, he stretched to the best of his ability to complete the catch.
With Pujara departing after scoring 17 (70) with the help of one four, India are now three-down with captain Ajinkya Rahane and batsman Hanuma Vihari in the middle.
While it was Mitchell Starc who had drew first blood last evening, Cummins ensured to perform an better job just after the first hour at the Melbourne Cricket Ground today.

Pujara departs 😭
It’s been a long spell for Cummins and he’s struck twice in two overs to peg India back.
