Diego Costa’s move to Atletico Madrid is back on
Diego Costa’s nightmarish summer does not look like it’s going to end any time soon. The Brazilian born Spanish striker is currently in Brazil, literally a world away from his manager and team.
Videos of Costa partying in his hometown have surfaced, as the controversial striker is intent on not playing for Chelsea ever again.

With Costa in no mood to come back to Chelsea, and a shocking opening day defeat to Burnely at home, things look to be falling apart for the defending champions.
The seeds for this unfortunate situation were laid in January. Diego Costa was subject to an astronomical bid from China, which turned the striker’s mind. When he asked to leave the club, Conte told him that they will not let him go in the winter window.
While Conte must take enormous credit for handling the Costa situation in January, he made a real mess of things in the summer, when he sent the striker a text saying that he was not in his plans for next season.
Costa took offence and has since refused to come back to London. He wants to go back to Atletico Madrid, but their transfer ban means that he cannot go back to Spain right now.
But things might eventually work out for Diego, as Chelsea and Atletico representatives are currently working out a possible transfer for the striker.
Since the deadline day in Spain has a few more hours to go, we could possibly see the fiery striker back in Atletico Madrid!
