Man Utd transfer news: Manchester United fans want Leicester City player at Old Trafford

Man Utd transfer news: Manchester United fans want Leicester City player at Old Trafford as the club seeks for new reinforcements.

Manchester United are set for a squad overhaul as a disappointing sixth position in the Premier league 2018/19 is compelling them to look for brighter prospects.

Ole Solskjaer has made no secrets about his desire to make quality signings in this summer transfer window. Additionally, executive vice-chairman of Manchester United Ed Woodward has promised a massive financial backing in this transfer window.

Therefore, in an online survey done by Manchester Evening news, they asked fans who they would like to see targeted, fans backed Wilfred Ndidi to join Manchester United this summer.

Here is the poll

Ndidi has been one of the most exciting youngsters in the Premier league season. The Foxes heavily rely on the 22-year-old midfielder as he has played in all the Premier league games this season.

On the other hand, Ander Herrera is set to leave for PSG and Marouane Fellaini’s departure in January, the Red Devils have a vacancy in midfield to fill this summer.

Moreover, Paul Pogba’s uncertain future in Manchester United and lack of Premier league experience among Fred, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira makes the Nigerian midfielder a viable target for the Red Devils.

Further, Solskjaer already mentioned that he would be looking forward to bolster his squad by signing young players who will understand the responsibilities of playing for United.
