Roman Reigns vs Adam Pearce: The Tribal Chief responds to his Royal Rumble opponent’s message. The WWE official emerged as the surprise no.1 contender last week.

Roman Reigns is on a power trip. So much so that the head of the table had Paul Heyman pull some strings to insert Adam Pearce into the very same Gauntlet match he arranged to determine the number one contender to the Universal Championship.

Once the WWE official was made part of the match, Reigns took it upon himself to ensure Pearce’s victory. After all, the Universal Champion had to make sure that Pearce got the message. You don’t cross the Tribal Chief and get away scot free.

The Tribal Chief responds to his Royal Rumble opponent’s message

Roman Reigns vs Adam Pearce is the scheduled title match at Royal Rumble. Pearce however, appears to be hesitant to be a part of the match. He dropped a video on social media requesting Reigns to ‘end this game’ as a last ditch effort.

Reigns however, was having none of it. The Universal Champion is hell bent on introducing the WWE official to a world of pain and made it that much clear through his response,

“My Show, My Locker room, My Legacy. My Decisions. Shut your mouth. Show up to work. Catch this ass beating,” he wrote.

Pearce was the final participant in the gauntlet match. He was up against Shinsuke Nakamura who had just gone through Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin and Daniel Bryan. Nakamura looked good to pull through and fix a date with Reigns for the Universal Championship.  Instead, however, Reigns and Jey Uso laid the two out and shoved Pearce’s lifeless body over Nakamura for the three pin.
