WATCH : Sadio Mane gets a straight red after horror tackle on Ederson

The early kick-off between Liverpool and Manchester City was one of the most awaited matches in the Premier league calendar.

High flying Liverpool were going to take on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.

While the match got off to a slow start, things picked up when Sergio Aguero picked up KDB’s through ball and slot it past the Liverpool keeper to give City the lead.

But the major talking point occurred when Sadio Mane picked up a contriversial red card following a collision with City keeper Ederdon.

Mane was charging for the ball while Ederson flew out of his box to clear it.

But Mane’s foot connected with Ederson instead and under the rules, he had to be sent off for a dangerous challenge.
