“LeBron James is the best player in the NBA and it’s not fair”: Shannon Sharpe dons ‘GOAT’ mask to sing Lakers MVP’s praise after Denver comeback win
Shannon Sharpe is astonished by LeBron James’s play against the Denver Nuggets and says that he’s still the best player in the NBA.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers battled from down 12 in the second quarter against the Denver Nuggets to somehow end the game by blowing them out by 21 points, 114-93.
The man behind this comeback win was yet again, LeBron James. LeBron has been having another MVP-like season in the Lakers’ 2020-21 NBA campaign and is in fact, at the top of the MVP leaderboard as of recent.
He dropped a cool 27, 10, and 10 against Jokic and his squad while going an efficient 12-19 from the field. He has been shooting the 3-ball at the best clip of his career, knocking down 41% of them.
Shannon Sharpe lets Skip Bayless know that LeBron James is still the NBA’s best player
Shannon Sharpe has made a name for himself by being one of LeBron James’s biggest defenders. There isn’t much to defend this season however, as Bron is cruising through this season, leading the Lakers to a top seed out West.
To reaffirm the 4x champ’s ‘GOAT’ status, Sharpe donned a goat mask with a crown on it to symbolise that James is the greatest ever. He then proceeded to make the case for LeBron being the best even today.
LeBron reaffirmed what we already knew. He’s the best player in the NBA currently.
This is not fair. He’s 36 in Year 18 dropping 27-10-10 and shooting 63% from the floor.

There are many candidates for the title of ‘best player in the NBA’. Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are also having career years or have maintained their MVP-level play.
Sharpe also delved into Anthony Davis’s lack of aggressiveness as of late. He disapproved of his passive behavior this season and said he wants the All-NBA big man to take at least 17-24 shots a night.
