General manager William Regal introduces New Titles, Innaugral Champions and Historic TakeOver in Groundbreaking announcement on WWE NXT.
Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez won the innaugral Dusty Rhodes Tag team classic. This granted them the opportunity to become the first ever team from NXT to hold the Women’s Tag Team titles. However, a controversial finish ensured that Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler left the Black and Gold Brand, still the tag team champions.

An infuriated William Regal declared that the issue would be discussed next week and a ground breaking announcement awaited the world. They were several rumors on what the announcement could be? NXT moving to Tuesdays? New Tag Titles or a Two day TakeOver? Well, two of them were right on the money.
