Luis Suarez has shocked Lionel Messi and Real Madrid

While all the attention was on Neymar, then Messi and then Dembele during the summer some people seemed to have forgotten that Barcelona still had the services to ace striker Luis Suarez.

The brilliant marksman was in fine form last year but he could not prevent Barcelona from having a relatively poor season. While he did not reach the heights of some of previous campaigns, Suarez still managed to score many goals for his team.

But things have not been too kind to the legendary striker. Suarez has been putting off a surgery that he requires as he will then be out of action for a few weeks at least. With Dembele already injured and out for a couple of months, Suarez did not want to take a risk with his injury.

His team members realize that Suarez is not hundred percent and have started to feel sorry for the Uruguayan instead.

Messi himself has been shocked by Suarez’s commitment as the striker puts himself through a lot of pain before playing for Barcelona. This news has even reached Real Madrid, with many players in the squad marveling at the determination of Luis Suarez.

Suarez though will need to take care of his health sooner rather than later, or he could risk causing even more damage right now. His determination to play is admirable though and also goes to show the passion that he has for the club.

Hopefully he can get himself looked after very soon, otherwise this could spell bad news for the ace striker. And make no mistake about it, Barcelona need their star man!
