It was such a majestic performance by the Hall-Of-Famer who was knocking down most of his shots. Former Laker Jordan Clarkson revealed how the team was setting illegal screens to allow Kobe to get easy shots to let him score the insane number of points he did. Clarkson revealed:

“Oh, it was illegal as s***. I think the whole world is Kobe fans. Either you love or you hate him, but at the end of the day, you’re still a fan of what he does. I think the refs even let some things slide during that game.”

Most of the team’s shots were taken by their MVP, who played for 42 minutes that night. It was a picture-perfect ending for the Hall-Of-Famer.

He left the game as an 18-time All-Star, 5-time NBA champ, 1-time MVP and one of the best basketball geniuses the game has ever witnessed. He definitely managed to change how the game was played.
