“Luka Doncic is the only player ever with 30 points, 20 assists and 1 turnover”: Mavs star joins Russell Westbrook and Magic Johnson among 4 players to have a 30-10-20 game
Recording 31 points, 12 rebounds and 20 assists triple-double in a win against the Wizards, Luka Doncic joins an elite group of players.
There is absolutely no denying Luka Doncic and his talents. He is one of the finest young talents the league has to offer. Playing only in his third year, Doncic has not only been one of the best young players but is considered to be amongst the best in the whole league.
On Saturday night, Luka and the Dallas Mavericks hosted a Russell Westbrook-led Wizards at the American Airlines Center. Both the teams entered the game with some winning momentum. The Wizards held an 8-1 record in their previous 9 games before the match, while the Mavericks entered the game with 5 wins in 6 matches.
As expected it to be, the match surely was action-packed. With a close score of 125-124, the home team were able to protect their home court. However, it was an incredible duel between Doncic and Westbrook. Leading his team to a victory, Luka put up a rare 31-point, 20-assists and 12-rebounds triple-double to overshadow Russ’ 42/10/9.

Luka Doncic is only the fourth player in NBA history to put up a 31/20/10 triple-double
Only three other players have been able to produce a performance like Luka’s vs the Wizards. The 22-year-old Slovenian joins the elite company of legends Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson and Russell Westbrook as the only four players to record such a triple-double.
Doncic has become the first Mavericks player ever to have a 20-assists triple-double. Moreover, the two-time All-Star became the first player in NBA to finish a game with at least 20 assists and only one turnover, all while dropping a 31-piece on the Wizards.

Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks have now won 7 in their last 10. With a 36-27 record have jumped up to the 5th seed in the Western Conference, looking strong to avoid the play-in tournament.
With only 9 games left for their regular season to conclude, the Mavericks will surely aim to close out the season strong and enter the playoffs with some winning momentum.
