Watch: Sebastian Vettel inspecting Mick Schumacher’s Haas after the end of the French Grand Prix, where the latter could only grab P19.

While Red Bull and Mercedes vied for the top spot, the budding star of Formula 1 are still struggling in the lower ranks of the grid.

Last year’s F2 champion Mick Schumacher is hardly getting a finish above a P17, and on Sunday, his record went even more abysmal as he finished P19, just above his teammate Nikita Mazepin.

It is a fact that Haas hasn’t developed much this year, and in comparison is slower than the rest of the teams. Moreover, the rookie pair isn’t much of help while competing against their counterparts like Alfa Romeo and Williams.

So, this time maybe Schumacher requested Vettel or the latter decided to inspect the Haas car after the end of the French Grand Prix.

We wonder what the four-time world champion would have said to his godson. After checking in slightly, “Oh maybe that’s why it is so slow, definitely poor work,” we can only wonder Vettel said this.

Sebastian Vettel rubbing salt on Ferrari

While we witnessed this moment between the two generations of F1 drivers, Vettel had a good outing in France, where P9 was a decent result for his team, while his teammate Lance Stroll finished P9, a humble loot of three points.

But while achieving his P9, he got a moment to have a burn moment to give to his previous employers– Ferrari, as he overtook Carlos Sainz, to enter into the points bracket.

On the other hand, the Maranello-based team went home empty-handed, as Charles Leclerc had an unfortunate day finishing P16, after failing to recover from the initial pitstop drop.
