MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli influenced my career, says Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has been the interesting find for India in making the right amount of balance of the team. The team required someone like him four to five years back.

Ever since putting on a string of performances in IPL, he earned a dream call-up from the Indian cricket team. He also said that because of IPL, he attained a meteoric rise.

Talking about the cricketers who influenced his career, Hardik Pandya said that MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are the two veterans who helped him nurture his career.

“I have learned from both of them, they are amazing. I take a lot of advice from Dhoni,” Hardik Pandya told in a candid interview with CNN-News18.

People started to compare Hardik Pandya and Kapil Dev. Speaking on that, Hardik said, I have always said that what he did in his life was tremendous. Even if I do 10 per cent of what he did, I will be happy.”

Ravi Shastri has been super cool customer according to Hardik Pandya who is getting well with the chief coach. Ravi Shastri gives the confidence to Hardik and that is how one can expect from the top level coach.

“He might be the coach, but he is the real rockstar. He is the cool dude. He gives me the freedom and the confidence at this level. We gel pretty well with him,” Hardik added.
