He commented on the following post, which is a prediction for who would be the starting quarterback for NFL teams.

This clearly shows that he is not a fan of the football page. B/R Gridiron runs an Instagram page which covers some of the hottest topics on the NFL.

In addition, they also make predictions for roster battles, how many games a team will win etc. Njoku however finds this account needless and toxic.

David Njoku: Is 2021 finally the ‘breakout season’?

He only had 213 receiving yards and 19 receptions last season as per ProFootball Reference. Njoku isn’t the starting tight end, as he plays behind Austin Hooper who has been more productive in comparison.

Nevertheless, he definitely improved in the last 6 games of last season, recording 172 receiving yards and 15 receptions. If healthy and consistent, he should be ready for a bigger role in the upcoming season.

Njoku has been involved in trade rumors in the past

The 24-year-old has been involved in various trade rumors for a while now. It started when he reportedly requested a trade through his agent in 2020.

However, he is now apparently in a better place with the team and is looking forward to play an active role in the upcoming season.

The Browns seemed to have weathered the storm with tight end David Njoku, who requested a trade last summer. I’m told per source that Njoku is in a good place with the franchise.

The young tight end has been primed for a breakout season for consecutive years, but hasn’t really lived up to the hype yet. He will be looking to make an impact in the upcoming season though.
