PSG want to replace Edinson Cavani with Cristiano Ronaldo

Rumours are already afloat that PSG look ready to pull of another record breaking deal like last year. They are reportedly hoping to add Ronaldo to their 2018 squad!

Initially hinted by the Express at a possible Ronaldo Neymar swap, a few people also thought otherwise. After all, Neymar looked too happy to be leaving PSG. But when did PSG’s interest in the star come in?

Spanish daily Diario Gol report that PGS’s interest was piqued at the same time rumours began about the Portugese star’s future in Real Madrid.

The Express report had gone ahead and claimed that Ronaldo was in no two minds about leaving the club this summer, with Spanish daily AS too confirming the possibilities of a 2018 transfer window.

This would be 5-time (I hope) Ballon d’Or award winner would undoubtedly bring a fresh charge to any team’s stride he joins.

Although Oliver Bond of the Liverpool Echo’s hinted that since they already have a superior in-form finisher in Neymar, Ronaldo could again don that playmaking role!

Though Cavani, Draxler or Di Maria could be possible sacrificies in what could be a huge chunk in the never ending pockets of the Qatari Oryx, it’ll be an interesting time as most of the major clubs enter the January window looking to expand their squad!
