Tom Brady And Antoine Winfield Jr Gear Up For A Super Bowl Defense
Winfield poking fun at Brady during the offseason is a sign of the great chemistry this Tampa Bay team has. Winfield Jr was the Buccaneers second round pick last year, and despite being a rookie, he played a tremendous role on the Buccaneers vaunted defense.
During the playoffs, Winfield stepped it up even more, pulling off several clutch plays including an interception in the Super Bowl and key forced fumble during the NFC Divisional Round.

Winfield was one of the highest graded defenders during the postseason and his presence in the secondary is going to be key for the Buccaneers if they are to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
Tom Brady was terrific as always as he became the first quarterback to total 50+ touchdowns (regular season and playoffs) and win the Super Bowl. It was also recently revealed that Brady played the entirety of the 2020-21 NFL season with a torn MCL.
The Buccaneers are set up perfectly to repeat as the biggest story of their offseason was that they brought back all 22 of their starters. Now, it’s just a matter of ensuring complacency doesn’t settle in and that they continue to be aggressive in pursuit of a second title.
