The official handles are yet to give further updates on the incident, but it has certainly made fans pray for the safety of drivers involved in the incident.
Is Raddilion dangerous?
The Raidillion/Eau Rouge is a famous centre of attraction at Spa Francorchamps, but it has seen some fatal accidents over the recent years that have even caused severe injuries and, in worse cases, death.
Anthoine Hubert lost his life in a Formula 2 race while crossing the same path, whereas recently, Jack Aitken (associated with Williams) also suffered a fatal crash at 24Hours of Spa 2021; fortunately, he survived but obtained multiple injuries.
Therefore, fans have raised doubts about whether Eau Rouge is even safe for the drivers anymore, with horrible crashes becoming a regular sight at Spa.
They need gravel in front of the tyres to stop cars bouncing back into the track. This corner is getting scarier every year; really don’t want another Hubert

So, it is upon FIA’s enquiry to know whether any alterations will be made at that point, as the governing body has certainly been considerate of drivers’ safety.
