Real Madrid plan a summer swoop for Hugo Llrois

Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a bid to bring Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris to the Bernabeu after it became clear that the Real Madrid board were unhappy with the Keylor Navas’ poor run of form.

Reports claim that Lloris, who will turn 31 in January, is keen to add silverwares to his career and since joining Spurs in 2012, he has received only the runners-up medal in the League Cup, now known as Carabao Cup, back in 2015.

The Frenchman is said to be valued at 25 million pounds and is ready to consider leaving Spurs if Tottenham fail to win any silverware this season.

David De Gea and Thibaut Courtois are the two other long term targets for the Los Blancos, but complications in their transfers has forced President Florentino Perez to look at other options, and that list includes the likes of Lloris and Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa.

Meanwhile , it is widely believed that Bilbao goal stopper Kepa will join Real Madrid this January and will be the number 1 till the end of the season, after which he will play back up to the new No.1 marquee goalkeeper next season.

This would indirectly imply that Kiko Casilla’s Real Madrid career may be cut short to fund the transfer of the new goalkeeper next season.

The addition of Hugo Lloris, one of the best goalkeepers in the world today, will be a huge boost for Los Blancos as they look to bounce back from a disappointing start to the season.
