Virender Sehwag engages in Twitter banter with PSU employees

Ever since he retired from the game, Virender Sehwag has been lighting up social media, through his witty comments and unique perspective on the game.

The legendary opener has quickly become a famed Twitter celebrity, as Sehwag has already garnered over millions of followers. Much like his batting, Sehwag remains uncomplicated and does not shy away from saying the first thing that comes to him.

Recently though, Sehwag got into trouble as his latest tweet rubbed PSU employees the wrong the way.

This happened during the second ODI between India and South Africa, when the umpires surprisingly called for lunch with India needing only two runs to win.

It was a baffling decision that was met with much criticism from all quarters. The on-air commentators felt that the umpires should use their common sense, rather than follow the rule-book on this occasion.

Even the players themselves were shocked, as a visibly bemused Virat Kohli was seen asking the umpires to carry on for just a couple more deliveries.

Eventually though, both sets of players had to walk off and had to return after a 40 minute break to complete the formalities.

Social media went ablaze, as people started ridiculing the umpires’ decision to go off the field with just a couple of runs remaining. Never one to be shy, Virender Sehwag also got on Twitter and sent across a tweet.

While many people found it hilarious, PSU employees got offended as they fired back at the retired cricketer.

Private banks are not implementing government schemes,on the other hand we are making govt’s scemes successful,working for more than 8 hours on regular basis,it’s easy to comment from other side, jus live a life of a banker for only one day,ur perceptions Abu bankers will change

Sehwag then replied, as he tried to diffuse the tension.
