Sunrisers Hyderabad’s probable XI against Rajasthan Royals
Sunrisers Hyderabad have been put in an uncomfortable situation for now fault of theirs. They had retained only Warner and Bhuvi before the auctions.
Warner was their leader and Bhuvi was his most trusted knight. However the events in South Africa have forced Warner out of the IPL and it has changed all the dimensions for SRH.
SRH have already named New Zealand star Kane Williamson as their captain. They hope he emulates the role played by David Warner in Hyderabad and not in Cape Town. After the auctions SRH looked one of the most balanced teams in the league.
The Warner departure has made a dent in their squad but they still are a force to reckon with.
OPENERS:
Shikhar Dhawan has been a star for the SRH over the last few years and he is set to partner Alex Hales at the top of the order.
Kane Williamson is set to come down at number 3 and is expected to be the glue that sticks the batting order together.
MIDDLE ORDER:
Manish Pandey who caught everyone’s eye at the auction has impressed for the National team over the last year and a half. Sunrisers have invested heavily in the batsman and expect big things from him this season.
Shakib Al Hasan will complete the overseas list and will be the floater in the batting line up. Wriddhiman Saha is the wicket keeper of this side and his experience is add going to their fire power.
The mighty Yusuf Pathan will be the second all rounder along with the Bangladesh veteran.
BOWLERS:
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan are probably the first two names in their team sheet and would be ably supported by Sandeep Sharma and Basil Thampi.
Predicted XI : Alex Hales, Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson (C), Manish Pandey, Shakib Al Hasan, Wriddhiman Saha (WK), Yousuf Pathan, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi.
