MS Dhoni invites Sudhir Gautam as fans enjoys a special day

Sudhir, who travels to almost every Indian game, was recently invited for lunch by Dhoni.

Sudhir Gautam is a well-known face among the Indian cricket circuit. The fan has become the face of Indian cricket fan-base, and is visible in almost every Indian game. With a huge Indian flag and a shell-trumpet, Sudhir leads the cheer for Indian cricket team in stadiums across the world.

Sudhir is a huge Tendulkar fan and wears the Indian tri-colour on his body. The cricketers also acknowledge Sudhir’s support, and Tendulkar even invited him to the dressing room during world cup celebrations in 2011. Recently, he was at MS Dhoni’s home.

Sudhir was the guest for Dhoni’s family, as the cricketer invited him to a farmhouse lunch. Sudhir took to Twitter to thank the cricketer. He called it a “special day” and said that the feeling couldn’t be described in words.

Sudhir also mentioned that Dhoni feels relaxed after winning the IPL 2018 with Chennai Super Kings.

MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings made a comeback in the IPL this season in the most emphatic fashion. The team remained the most consistent in the tournament, and emerged as winners. This was CSK’s third IPL title since the tournament’s inception in 2008.

CSK defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final by 8 wickets. CSK is now the most successful side in the Indian Premier League alongside Mumbai Indians, with three titles each.

Dhoni enjoyed his most successful tournament this season, as the wicketkeeper-batsman registered a staggering average of 75. He scored 455 runs throughout the season. His strike rate was just above 150, as he hit 30 sixes in the tournament.
