Michael Jordan, Who Was Married To Juanita Vanoy For 17 Years, Was Caught ‘Cheating’ 6 Times By A Private Investigator
Michael Jordan is revered as the greatest player in the history of the NBA and while that is quite the on-court accomplishments, his activities off the court were always a bit dubious. This was the case especially when he was with his first wife, Juanita Vanoy, who he was married to for 17 years.
Juanita and Jordan met each other at the end of a Chicago Bulls game in 1985 at a Bennigans. Sparks flew almost instantaneously and in a mere 2 years time, Michael got down on one knee to propose to her. She would say yes and the two would get married in Las Vegas in 1989.
After 12-13 years of marriage however, Juanita ‘unexpectedly’ filed for divorce from the Wizards star in 2002. The reasoning behind it was officially unknown for some time. Though, certain revelations coming forth led to everybody understanding as to why she made such a drastic move.
Juanita Vanoy hired a private investigator to spy on Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan was tailed by private investigator, Eddie Rizzo, for 4 years, back-and-forth from Chicago to Florida while he was in and out of the NBA. Rizzo’s findings saw him in comprising positions with at least 6 women, with other sources claiming that the number was as high as 12.
This is what led to Juanita citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ when she filed for divorce in 2002. Though, despite the constant cheating scandals and rumors surrounding her husband, she actually withdrew her petition.
Instead, she stayed with Michael for another 4 years. They would officially announce their split from one another in December of 2006 and finalize it within a matter of months.
Michael Jordan would find love once again
Following his split with Juanita Vanoy, Michael Jordan found love yet again in the form of Cuban model, Yvette Prieto. He would see her at a club in Miami and knew he had to approach her.
In a matter of years, the two would get married and currently have two twin daughters, Ysabel and Victoria.
