Lando Norris tortures himself with red hot wings while answering questions in Quadrant video

Lando Norris is one of the biggest F1 stars on and off track. The young Briton has millions of followers on social media, and he even has his own brand known as Quadrant. They have over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube and feature some of the UK’s most popular internet influencers.

Norris himself features in plenty of Quadrant videos, but most of them aren’t as uncomfortable for him as the one with him trying out hot chicken wings. There were YouTubers who are part of Quadrant and were present alongside Norris for this video, and questions were asked as they tried out those hot and spicy wings.

Norris was answering questions regarding his career, and how he got into racing while trying out the hot wings. Unfortunately, they turned out to be a bit too spicy for the McLaren superstar. He started squealing because of how hot it was and smeared ice cream all over his face and drank milk to counter the heat. Despite that, his face turned red and his eyes became watery because of the spice.

Lando Norris is hoping for much better performances in 2023 after underwhelming 2022 season

Norris finished 7th in the Drivers’ Standings in 2022 which earned him the title ‘best of the rest’. This is because he finished just behind the Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes drivers (all three were miles ahead of the rest).

Norris, however, is not a fan of his tag as he previously stated. The 23-year-old had just one podium finish in 2022 which came in the form of a third placed finish at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. According to him, McLaren have had an underwhelming season, and just one podium finish does not satisfy him at all.

“A podium always means something,” he said to Motorsport.com. “It means something to me, means something to the team. But one isn’t enough. “One is like, we got lucky, and all of this stuff. You want to feel like you deserve to be there every time and we deserved to be there for sure. We weren’t quick enough to be there. We were kind of way ahead of where we deserve to be.

In 2023, Norris aims to make big strides along with his team, as they look to return to winning ways on a consistent basis.
