“The Only Must-Win Was World War II”: Aaron Rodgers’ Rationale Behind Hating The Term ‘Must-Win’ Is Winning The Internet
Aaron Rodgers’ Packers had everything on the line when they took on the Detroit Lions last Sunday. After a forgettable start to the season, Rodgers’ unit was able to gain some winning momentum which eventually allowed them to have a legitimate shot at the playoffs.
They even started off well by gaining a 3-point lead by the end of the first quarter. The Packers carried that lead into the final quarter and the game was shaping up to be an absolute humdinger. However, it wasn’t meant to be for Green Bay as Lions not only demolished that lead but also ended up winning the clash by 20-16.
As soon as the game ended, speculations regarding Rodgers announcing his retirement from the sport started surfacing. To add to that, some of his previously made statements also started going viral.
Aaron is known for making controversial statements every now and then. May it be his expert commentary on Covid vaccines, or his love for ayahuasca, the man just knows how to stay in the news.

Aaron Rodgers’ World War II comments are going viral
A few days ago, he made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and while he was asked about the must-win game against the Lions, Aaron’s response ended up setting the Internet on fire one more time.
“I never liked the term must-win game. Somebody once said that the only must win was World War II and I remember thinking like, I kinda agree that was a must win,” Aaron said after which, McAfee couldn’t stop laughing.
“WWII was a must win situation, like we had to win that,” Aaron added. Without a doubt, Rodgers’ response eased the tension and after a long while, fans bombarded Twitter with positive reactions to the Green Bay QB’s comment.
