Biggest win in ODI cricket by runs: Biggest win for India in ODI history full list
India have created history in the recently concluded third ODI against Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram. Having scored their ninth-highest ODI innings total earlier in the day, India bundled out Sri Lanka for their fourth-lowest innings total.
A shambolic batting collapse resulted in the visitors getting bundled out for 73 in their attempt to chase down a 391-run target. Needless to say that the Sri Lankan innings never really got going at the Greenfield International Stadium tonight.
Barring India scoring 390/5 in 50 overs in the first innings, all other ODI innings totals at this venue have been astonishingly low. The development has not only powered India to a 3-0 series win but also to the biggest victory (by runs) in the history of ODI cricket.

Playing his first match of the series, Sri Lanka batter Ashen Bandara couldn’t bat due to his involvement in an unfortunate injury alongside spinner Jefferey Vandersay in the first innings. Apart from Nuwanidu Fernando (19), Kasun Rajitha (13*) and Dasun Shanaka (11), no other Sri Lankan batter was able to reach the double-digit mark.
Having bowled 10 out of the 22 overs which the Indian bowlers bowled on Sunday, India pacer Mohammed Siraj was the pick of their bowlers with career-best figures of 10-1-32-4. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami and spinner Kuldeep Yadav picked a couple of wickets each to be among the three wicket-takers among Indian bowlers in this match.
