Real Madrid deny having a deal with PSG for Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid have denied that there is a deal in place for the French star.
A few days ago, AS reported about a deal between Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain for a transfer for Kylian Mbappe. The deal was reported to be in the region of 272 million euros. However, Real Madrid have denied the claim.
In an official statement released by the club today, Real Madrid have stated that there have been no offers in place for the French footballer.
“Real Madrid has not made any offers to PSG or the player and regrets the dissemination of this type of information,” the statement read.
Earlier, the Los Blancos also released a statement regarding a world record deal for Neymar, which was also denied.
Spanish outlet AS cited tweets from French journalist which reported that Real Madrid have made a 272 million euros bid for Kylian Mbappe, and are close to signing the winger. Real Madrid refuted the claim, and seemingly referred the report.
“Given the information published in the last hours referring to an alleged agreement between Real Madrid CF and PSG for player Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid says they are flatly false,” Real Madrid’s statement continued.
Kylian Mbappe joined PSG last year from Monaco on a fee in the region of 166 million pounds. The move will be made permanent this season.
The French forward is currently with France where he chases World Cup glory with his team in Russia. France have reached the quarterfinal of the World Cup and will face South American side Uruguay.
