Sergio Perez’s statement on Force India coming out of administration
Sergio Perez and Mercedes initiated the legal proceedings against Force India that led to the team going into administration.
Perez received a lot of slack for his actions initially, but later when he clarified that the step was taken in order to protect the team and the jobs of the employees.

The last few weeks have been extremely successful for Perez and everyone involved with the Force India team.
However, the ‘anxiety phase’ came to an end yesterday when a Lawrence Stroll led consortium bailed Force India out of administration, coming on board as investors and promoters.
While all Force India fans would have breathed a sigh of relief, Sergio Perez would have been one of the happiest and most relieved people for sure.
The monkey was off his back, as the tough step that he had taken ultimately helped the team get back to its feet. It could have backfired and Perez might have had to shoulder a lot of blame for it, but in the end, it all worked out for the good.
Perez came up with an important message on social media, talking about how he was happy that Force India was out of administration and how he was looking forward to a bright future for and with the team.
“I’m pleased for all my colleagues back in Silverstone, there’s a bright future for this incredible team, which should never forget how far Vijay Mallya took it” Perez said.
