While LeBron James has been the primary reason for the team’s success, Anthony Davis has had an equal role in the same.

In these games, the 30-year-old’s stats have drastically deteriorated – 13 points and 10.3 rebounds on 40.4% shooting.

As soon as this concerning stat went viral on social media, NBA Twitter decided to troll the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team member for the same.

One user said he was Hakeem Olajuwon.

The other hilariously called him Kendrick Perkins in even games.

Everyone trolled him for his inconsistency.

With this stat getting highlighted, several basketball enthusiasts are predicting Stephen Curry and co. to even up the series on Monday.

Can the Lakers win the championship with Davis’ inconsistency?

Davis’ inconsistency hasn’t come to haunt Darvin Ham’s boys just yet.

In the 4 even games the California-based franchise has played so far in the 2023 postseason, they have lost merely 2 games. In the 2 wins, both occurring in the first round, Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell have covered up for AD.

As the Lakers aim to advance to the WCF and eventually the NBA Finals, having their star forward play well only in alternate games won’t be enough support for a 38-year-old LBJ to help the franchise win the 2023 title.

Putting on a productive display in the upcoming clash will be extremely essential for a boost in Davis’ morale.
