Shaun White Captures Nina Dobrev in Life-Altering Moment With Lewis Hamilton
Not everyone has the luxury of witnessing F1 cars zoom through the streets of Monaco, as the engine sounds reverberate through the Municipality. However, when you’re good pals with Sir Lewis Hamilton himself, anything is possible. Five-time-Olympian and snowboarder Shaun White and his actress wife Nina Dobrev, on the other hand, found themselves in an exciting position.
Not only is the Monaco GP the grandest event on the F1 circuit, but White and Dobrev had the privilege of witnessing their first-ever F1 race at the Crown Jewel of the sport in 2022. Only a few can say that. However, on top of meeting Hamilton and Wolff and living the VIP life, the couple even got a birds-eye view of all the action.
Lewis Hamilton & Co impress Nina Dobrev
Last year, the couple found themselves with one of the best seats to the race- atop a house overlooking the circuit. Considering it was their first race, Dobrev was taken aback by the beastly sounds of the turbo hybrid engine. Ecstatic, she couldn’t help but contain her surprise.

Listening to Lewis Hamilton and the F1 grid roaring through, the actress was caught on camera screaming: “Holy sh*t! Holy F*ck! Oh my God!”
Jumping around with joy, Dobrev summarized the feeling of any F1 fan witnessing the speed of these cars in all their glory. On team Hamilton, surely the duo was more than impressed.
Shaun White takes Hamilton to Antarctica
The two icons of their sports have shared a budding relationship over the last two years, with Hamilton spending his winter break with the snowboarding champ. Enjoying some quality time in Antarctica, their social media accounts were white with pictures of their snowy adventures.

One such post truly epitomized the exceptional qualities that make Hamilton who he is- a legend. Taking to Instagram, White wrote: ‘He had the guts to follow me over the Antarctic water, and after not making it he immediately hiked back up, soaking wet and freezing to do it again! That’s the champion’s mindset and I loved seeing it.”
The video he shared perfectly encapsulated the essence of the story. Hamilton kept pace with his natural instinct for speed, gliding along with the gold medalist.
As the 2023 F1 Monaco GP nears, one can hope to see the Olympian there to support his F1 championship friend. As White and Dobrev dive deep into the world of F1, such appearances and experiences will only be more frequent.
