Fan Asks Daniel Ricciardo to Prove He’s a ‘Good Kisser’ After Asking for His Number
Daniel Ricciardo is arguably one of the most popular F1 stars and has always been a fan favorite because of his charismatic personality. However, a fan once took it to the next level by asking Ricciardo to prove that he’s a “good kisser” after also asking for the honey badger’s number.
Earlier this year, Ricciardo was part of a prank video shot for Australian telecommunications company Optus. He disguised himself as a salesman, stood behind a counter with his hair combed down, and was wearing high-powered spectacles. The 33-year-old also had a fake mustache on. As a customer approached the desk, another salesman asked Ricciardo to help her out with what she needed.
Very soon, however, the customer realized that the person behind the counter was none other than F1 megastar Daniel Ricciardo. Sportingly, she became a part of the prank by playing along with the 7-time F1 race winner. It ended up in the woman taking advantage of Ricciardo being in the prank video, by asking him to prove that he’s a “good kisser”.
Fan takes advantage of Daniel Ricciardo during a prank
Initially, the fan didn’t notice who the salesman was. However, she soon felt that it was a familiar face, and asked him if he was Daniel Ricciardo. The Red Bull driver couldn’t resist and replied by saying yes, shocking the fan. There is a possibility that all Ricciardo was allowed to do, was say yes.
When the fan asked Ricciardo what he was doing working at Optus, the ex-McLaren star replied by saying, “Yes” again. She decided to jokingly take advantage of him.

“I reckon you’re a really good kisser,” she says. Ricciardo, didn’t deny that he wasn’t, to which the woman added, “Should we like, test that theory, sometime? Gimme your number?”
Blindly agreeing to the woman’s joke would be taking it too far, so Ricciardo decided to end the segment by finally uttering the words “No.”
Ricciardo forced to be a part of other pranks
There were people behind the scenes who were talking to Daniel Ricciardo through an earpiece throughout the segment. They made Ricciardo dress up ridiculously, to which the Perth-born felt that he looked like a “creep.”
Ricciardo posted the video of him going undercover on his YouTube channel, and one of the first pranks he was forced to be a part of involved selling a phone to a customer. The catch, however, was that he had to replace the word phone with “vroom vroom”.
The second customer who came in to talk to Ricciardo, was looking for a broadband connection because he was moving to a different house. Hilariously enough, the people behind the scenes made Ricciardo prank the customer by singing a song to promote what he was selling!
Ricciardo is extremely popular, which made the video he published viral. His collaboration with Optus reached more than 200,000 views on YouTube in just three weeks.
