Pogba-Mourinho relationship: Pogba speaks on working with Mourinho
Pogba-Mourinho relationship: Paul Pogba has finally spoken on working with Jose Mourinho after reports of feud between the two.
Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United has been under the dark in recent weeks with the midfielder being linked with a transfer to Barcelona. Reports claiming about a fractious relationship with Jose Mourinho have been circling around Europe and that could be a deciding factor as far as Pogba’s time to come is concerned.
Pogba has never really lived up to the reputation of his price tag of 89 million pounds, and his second season at the club has had in and out rumours circulating that he and his boss have had a turbulent relationship, especially during the business end of last season. Pogba has now confirmed that he does not know what the future holds for him.
‘There was a lot of talk, but it was just like that, I’m under contract in Manchester,’ he told Sky Germany. ‘My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract, I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.
Upon being asked to describe about how things were between him and Jose Mourinho, Pogba said, “We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right. ‘One thing I can assure you: I will always give 100 percent, no matter which coach I always give everything for United – I cannot say more.”
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez only ignited the rumours when he openly welcomed Paul Pogba’s potential arrival into Catalonia in an interview with RAC1. ‘Pogba’s an elite player who’s won everything,’ the former Liverpool striker told RAC1 on Tuesday.

‘He has a lot of quality and he’s one of the references at United. I think he would like to be competing for more than he is at the moment. He’s not a player that belongs to Barca, but he would always be welcome.’
Pogba hinted at his frustrations at Manchester United last month after a Premier League fixture by saying ‘there are things I cannot say otherwise I will get fined’.
