Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial are expected to be fit for the Premier League clash against Watford.

Manchester United players are currently away on international duties, but the forwards Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial are on the treatment table suffering injuries. The duo will be hoping to push the Red Devils in the top four clash as the final part of the season will get underway from this weekend.

Lingard and Martial did play their part during Manchester United’s 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup Quarterfinals. The Frenchman did complete the full game, but the former was substituted in the second half as he was playing through an injury.

Anthony Martial was included in France’s squad for the Euro qualifier, but he was forced to be withdrawn after suffering a knee injury. On the other hand, Manchester United’s graduate, who picked up a recurrence injury against Liverpool will be available for the game against Watford on Saturday.

Jesse Lingard is currently spending his time at Dubai in order to improve his conditioning where is undergoing a club guided regime. Although he played 86 minutes against Nuno Santo’s side, the 26-year-old was short of match fitness and has been sent to the United Arab Emirates during this International break.

He has posted snippets of his regime on social media having filmed a video of himself training on a trampoline, using an exercise bike and taking part in a crossbar challenge.

On the other hand, Martial has also been in Dubai enjoying his holidays with his fiancee Melanie Da Cruz. Both Red Devils players flew into Manchester airport from the UAE, with Lingard landing on Sunday, whilst Martial will be touching down on Monday night.

Their fitness will come as a huge boost for Manchester United who have been suffering from injury crisis lately. The duo is expected to keep their place intact against Watford reports Mirror. Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Marcus Rashford, and Romelu Lukaku have been forced to withdraw from their national sides due to injuries. Despite all these injuries, the Norwegian will be happy to invite Ander Herrera to the starting eleven again after suffering a layoff on the sidelines.

The Red Devils enter the crunch part of the season and anything lesser than a top-four finish will be a disaster for them. According to various reports, Paul Pogba is set to experiment himself in another league after spending three years at the club. Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus are circling the French International in order to lure him away from Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has demanded Ed Woodward to sell Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia, and Marcos Rojo. On the other hand, the club is working to bring in some fresh faces in the summer transfer window. The likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Jadon Sancho, Milan Skriniar, Kastos Manolas, and Douglas Costa are heading the shortlist for the club currently.

The board have not named their permanent manager yet and they are cautious about the moves they are trying to make before the conclusion of the summer. Solskjaer is the front-runner for the job, but Mauricio Pochettino is another candidate linked for Manchester United’s permanent hot seat.
