Petr Cech injury update: Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech pulled a hamstring during the game against Watford.
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech tweaked his hamstring during the match against Watford in the Premier League on Saturday. The goalkeeper was substituted by Arsenal’s new signing, Bernd Leno.
Arsenal’s head coach, Unai Emery later confirmed that Petr Cech could miss the football action for two-three weeks.

“Maybe he’ll be out for two or three weeks,” said the head coach.
The Gunners secured another three points in the match against Watford, extending their winning run to seven matches in all competitions. This was also Arsenal’s fifth consecutive victory in the Premier League after they endured two opening losses to Man City and Chelsea respectively.

Arsenal will now face Qarabag in the Europa League, before traveling to Craven Cottage to face Fulham.
Bernd Leno made his debut in the Premier League for Arsenal as a result of injury to the former Czech international and is expected to take his place until Cech recovers.
Watford gave a tough fight to Arsenal, and with the match still goalless after over 90 minutes, an Arsenal counter-attack led to own goal from Watford. Minutes later, Arsenal doubled their lead from a fine cross from Alexandre Lacazette, which was tapped in by Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table, level on points with their city rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester City are first in the league, with 19 points from seven matches. The Gunners are four points behind the league leaders, with Liverpool and Chelsea at second and third respectively.
