Lionel Messi, the footballer, has endured a very harsh testing period that has resulted in public outbursts unexpected of him. Messi, the family man, however, is having the time of his life.

Messi is currently relaxing with his family in the aftermath of the recently concluded Copa America where Argentina came in 3rd. The Barcelona star though, put in a very dismal performance throughout the tournament. To make things worse, despite performing brilliantly against Brazil in the semi-finals, Argentina were knocked out of South America’s premier competition. The Semi final against Brazil was marred with poor referring and Messi was quick to point that out.
More disappointment awaited the Argentine as he saw red in the 3rd place game against Chile; both literally and metaphorically. In what was arguably a very harsh decision, Messi was sent off after a confrontation with Chilean Gary Medel. After the match, Messi refused to participate in the medal ceremony and called the competition corrupt.
While Barcelona have started their pre-season, Lionel Messi is currently enjoying a time off. One that will perhaps do the Argentine wonders. He was seen holidaying with his family in a beach in Antigua last week. He was filmed playing football with his seen and three other children. Now, a video of Messi playing piggy in the middle with his dog and children has now emerged.

The giant French Mastiff is seen chasing the ball while Messi and his sons pass it among themselves. Mateo can be heard giggling as the family enjoy their time with their father who will soon be duty bound with the La Liga next month.
