Real Madrid vs Real Valladolid highlights: Twitter reacts as Real Madrid win
TheSportsRush brings Real Madrid vs Real Valladolid highlights, as Real Madrid win in the league for the first time since September.
Real Madrid secured their first La Liga win since September as an own goal from Kiko proved costly for the visiting side at Santiago Bernabeu.
The last few days have been rather eventful for Real Madrid, as a crushing loss to Barcelona led to the sacking of Julen Lopetegui as the manager. Santiago Solari, the former boss of the reserve side, replaced him as interim manager.
The side emerged 4-0 winners in the first leg of the Copa Del Rey against Melilla.
Real Madrid looked impressive against Valladolid, but took time to break the deadlock. Vinicius Junior finally put Real Madrid ahead, however, his shot was deflected off of Kiko.
The Los Blancos finished the game in style as Sergio Ramos scored a fine panenka as Real Madrid were awarded a penalty in the 88th minute.
With this win, Real Madrid are now 6th in the league table.
Here are some of the best Twitter reactions from the game:
Real Madrid survive two shots against the crossbar and get a late breakthrough with a massively deflected mishit shot. You know Lopetegui is wondering why he couldn’t get some of that luck…

FULL TIME!
Real Madrid 2-0 Real Valladolid!
A very lucky own goal and a penalty is enough to mask a pretty poor performance. It only gets more difficult from here…
Up next: Castilla take on top of the tree Ponferradina! Join me in just under two hours! Until then…#MMLive

I’d take this win in this adversity but will say it again, it was an absolutely spineless performance. Real Madrid need a proper manager not a juvenile and i hope the president knows it.

Yeah I have been critical of Benzema as of late because clearly he doesn’t offer what we need from a Real Madrid striker after the end of Ronaldo’s era but oh boy he is a magical footballer, wish he was a fucking number 10.

Do think it’s quite remarkable how Real Madrid managed to attain a collection of Hakimi, Reguilón, Carvajal, Theo and Odriozola. Fullbacks are the hardest position to find quality players in, yet Madrid has 5 of them for years to come.

FT | REAL MADRID 2-0 REAL VALLADOLID.
Vinícius Júnior’s shot was turned in by Kiko Olivas late on before Sergio Ramos panenka sealed the scrappy win for Santiago Solari on his home debut. It’s the first LaLiga win since September. #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/i6W7PvRrKF

Vinicius gets his goal, or part in the goal rather, by taking a chance. Asensio and Bale simply didn’t do that. To win the lottery you have to buy a ticket, not just assume you aren’t going to win. He’s raw but Vinicius is a breath of fresh air in a rather stale Real Madrid side.
