Ricciardo and Verstappen finally reveal whose fault was it in Baku
The Baku crash between Max and Ricciardo garnered a lot of attention as the Red Bull duo managed to spoil each others’ race and it felt like this could be the start of an unnecessary rivalry for Red Bull.
While nothing of that sort happened in the races to come, Red Bull were initially very concerned about letting their drivers race from there on.
The duo had been called to the Red Bull factory and were asked to present their case, along with a confirmation that nothing of this sort will happen in the future.
Verstappen had made two moves in defensive position, with Ricciardo opting to brake late; hence both the drivers were at fault somewhere.
Now, in a moment that epitomised the relationship between Max and Daniel, the duo were seen signing a photograph of that Baku crash during Dan’s farewell at the Red Bull factory.

Now, a reddit user has released a picture about the two drivers signing that Baku picture, attributing the cause of the crash to one another.

It is nice to see that the Red Bull boys had reached stage where they could joke about the entire incident.
Daniel is on his way to Renault after a frustrating year with Red Bull and would be hoping for a strong season there. Renault will need to work out of their skins to provide Ricciardo with a podium worthy car, but even if they can’t, one can expect Ricciardo to be challenging for the podium from midfield.
