Sir Alex returns to training: The former Man Utd manager returns to Carrington
Sir Alex returns to training: The former Manchester United boss returned to Carrington ahead of the game against Newcastle.
Manchester United are currently 6th in the league. The side has been performing impressively under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, winning all three games in his charge.
Moreover, the side has scored 12 league goals in the last three games, which is over 29% of the total league goals Manchester United have scored this season.
Earlier, it was reported that Sir Alex Ferguson might have a bigger role in the club with the arrival of Solskjaer, who has played under him for the entirety of his career at Manchester United.
And the Norwegian has now confirmed that the Scottish manager arrived at Carrington to meet the manager, and interact with the staff.

“The most important man at Manchester United is the manager. Without question. The minute that ever changed, it would mean a massive free-fall in the club. Massive free-fall. You can never allow the players to run a football club.” – Sir Alex Ferguson #HappyBirthdayBoss #MUFC

“Alexis is champing at the bit and wanted to be involved against Bournemouth, but it was too early for him.
“He will be involved at Newcastle, though, and he is looking forward to it. He has had some great training sessions over the last few days and scored quite a few nice goals, so that is encouraging,” said the manager.
