Anthony Martial contract extension: Martial set to sign new contract
Anthony Martial contract extension: The French winger has been impressive for Manchester United this season.
Manchester United have been terrific under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so far. The side will aim for their seventh consecutive victory in his charge when they take on Brighton later tonight.
However, the contract situation for some players has been a concern for the club.
Martial has been impressive for Manchester United this season after being forced to bench with the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January last year. As Sanchez lost his place due to inconsistent form and injuries, Martial stepped up brilliantly for United and is a regular in the starting XI at the moment.
And now, the French winger is set to sign a new contract at the club. Full details here:
Anthony Martial contract extension:
At the beginning of the season, the-then Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was willing for Martial to part ways with the club. According to Sky, Martial even rejected a contract offer in October later in 2018.
However, Sky now reports that negotiations with the Frenchman have finally reached a breakthrough and that Martial is set to sign a new contract.
