Ferrari to add technician to Binotto’s team, according to reports

Ferrari to get another major personnel change before 2019 season, as Binotto looks to make 2019 season a winning one.

Ferrari are well and truly ringing in the changes before the upcoming 2019 season, as the team wants to iron out all the mistakes that they committed in a rather frustrating 2018 season.

Having the stronger package for a good enough stretch in the 2018 campaign, Ferrari couldn’t really capitalise on the advantage.

Letting Arrivabene leave and appointing Binotto as the team principal has been seen as a major decision in rectifying mistakes of the past.

Binotto enjoys a lot of support from the work force at Ferrari, as he was able to rally his troops last season and build a very strong Ferrari package.

Now, while the Binotto and Leclerc appointment seem to be like a step in the right direction, Ferrari are scheduled for one more major personnel change, according to reports in Sky Italia.

Another technician is to come to Ferrari, one that will help Binotto build and sustain a good enough car for the entirety of the 2019 season.

“Binotto knows very well that the amount of work that awaits him is greater than the already demanding one he had to face in the last two seasons. An important and experienced person will arrive soon.” the Sky Italia source has quoted.

Speculations were rife earlier this month that ex-team boss Stefano Domenicali could return to the team, and while that does not seem like a big possibility, funnier things have happened(especially considering the silly season last time round).
