MS Dhoni responds to Rishabh Pant’s warning: The Chennai Super Kings captain gave an apt reply to the Delhi Capitals wicket-keeper.

Replying to Delhi Capitals wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant’s warning, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has welcomed the young cricketer for the match between the two franchises in IPL 2019.

With the 12th season of the Indian Premier League just over three weeks away now, such advertising campaigns have it in them to bang the drums in the best possible manner for the tournament.

Appearing for broadcaster Star, Dhoni was witnessed in the video being reminded of his earlier days. While he sounded in his usual calm and unaffected manner in the video, he ended up warning Pant in a unique manner.

“Jab main maidaan mein utra tha, toh aise his sochta tha. Aaja Rishabh, wicket ke piche toh main hi rahoonga. Game dikha, name banaa (When I started playing cricket, I used to think in the same manner. Rishabh, I’ll be there behind the wickets. You can show your game and make your name),“  Dhoni was quoted as saying in the video.

A few days ago, BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) had announced that the fixtures will be released in parts. With the first part of the schedule being released the same day, it has come as a respite for the plentiful stakeholders and fans of the cash-rich league. Capitals and Super Kings will face each other on March 26 at Delhi.
