Harbhajan Singh and Shikhar Dhawan react to Abhinandan Varthaman: The Indian cricketers took to Twitter to express their views.

Former Pakistan captain and current Prime Minister Imran Khan’s announcement regarding releasing Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman tomorrow has come as a tremendous respite for India.

After the Wing Commander was held as captive yesterday, a lot of tension had prevailed in India. However, a video of him being interrogated by the Pakistan Army eased off the atmosphere in India.

In the video, the brave officer was asked about his health and other details regarding the aircraft which he was flying and the overall mission. While he confirmed that he was taken care of by the Pakistan army, he denied to disclose anything about the operation which he was sent on.

As soon as the announcement was made, plentiful reactions in the affirmative were visible on social media platform Twitter. While some called it India’s win, the others were calm and thanked the Pakistan Prime Minister for this gesture of peace.

Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also took to Twitter to share his views on the same. Terming the same as ‘Great News’, Harbhajan quoted the words of Imran Khan. Read his tweet below:
