WATCH: Visor cam provides Kimi Raikkonen’s driver’s eye view in Barcelona testing
Kimi Raikkonen’s move to Alfa Romeo has been brilliantly received by the fans, as many Kimi loyalists were desolate after rumours of Ferrari not renewing his contract had surfaced last season.
Sauber(now Alfa Romeo) and Kimi Raikkonen worked out a deal, one that allowed Kimi to return to his boyhood team and fans to get a little more ‘Kimi action’.
The Finn has been at his joyful best during testing in Barcelona, soaking it all in and just enjoying the new car that the Alfa Romeo team has put out.
With a new front wing concept and that powerful Ferrari engine at the back, Alfa Romeo look fairly competitive going into the 2019 season.
And with Kimi Raikkonen behind the wheel, you can expect some fireworks this season.
Now, in order to give Kimi fans a little more to happy about, F1 has come up with a visor cam video of a Kimi lap in Barcelona testing.

Why don’t we have this camera in races

What a incredible view…
I’d like to watch forever— ♱Ḱ ♱ (@Ysk_FOR1) March 2, 2019
Fans have taken to the video brilliantly, as the new camera angle gives a brilliant insight into different driving modes that drivers use during a lap.
It also helps an average F1 fan get into that cockpit and get a feel of a real F1 lap from the eyes of an F1 driver.
Kimi Raikkonen and Alfa Romeo will be hoping that their testing wins translate into success during the season too.
What do you think of Alfa Romeo’s chances in the 2019 season and can Kimi Raikkonen secure a podium finish for himself?
