Jordi Alba goal vs Real Sociedad: The Barca defender scored almost immediately after Real Sociedad levelled the scoreline in the game.

Barcelona shot into the lead almost immediately after conceding the equalizer against Real Sociedad.

Clement Lenglet scored Barcelona’s first goal at the brink of the halftime, with a brilliant assist from Ousmane Dembele.

However, Real Sociedad equalized soon after the second half began through Juanmi in the 62nd minute. It didn’t take Barcelona long to respond, as Barca’s left-back Jordi Alba scored with a clean strike.

Barcelona took a lead again in the game after Jordi Alba beat Real Sociedad’s goalkeeper with a stunning shot from inside the penalty area.

Alba found the bottom corner as the Catalan giants took the lead.

Barcelona are currently six points ahead of Atletico Madrid and a win would further strengthen their position in the league. It is unlikely that the Catalans would fail to defend their La Liga title.

Lionel Messi was brilliant for the goal as he found Jordi Alba with a perfect through ball. The Barcelona defender finished the shot with Messi-esque prowess as well.

Barcelona are high on spirits after the side registered a 4-0 aggregate victory over Manchester United in the Champions League quarterfinals earlier this week.

The side faces Liverpool in the semifinal of the competition. Ernesto Valverde would aim to secure the Champions League title, as Barcelona are one of the top contenders alongside their semifinal opponents for the trophy.

The second semifinal will be played between Tottenham and Ajax.

Barcelona will return to action on Tuesday night as the side takes on Alaves in the La Liga.
