Virat Kohli picks funniest and tense experience
Speaking during the pre-match press conference on the eve of the match, Kohli was asked about his most tense moment while playing against Pakistan in his career. The Indian skipper picked playing a “bad shot” against Pakistan during the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 at Centurion.
“From 2009, when Yuvi [Yuvraj Singh] was injured, I flew in. Two days later I was playing Pakistan. Unlike anything I had experienced before. Played a bad shot, couldn’t sleep till 6 AM thinking am finished,” Kohli said.
Initially not part of the Indian team, Kohli was called-up to replace injured all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. Chasing a 303-run target, Kohli came in to bat at No. 4 in the 14th over. In the 22nd over, Kohli had lofted a Shahid Afridi delivery straight to Umar Gul at long-off.

Other than this, Kohli picked an incident from India-Pakistan match from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at Mohali as his funniest one from a match involving the arch-rivals.
“Can’t go into details here. Was during 2011 World Cup semi-final. I was at the non-striker’s end. It was a conversation between Shahid Afridi and Wahab Riaz. It was very funny in that pressure situation. I can’t say here,” Kohli added.
