Chris Jericho calls out WWE stars for mocking his BLOOD & GUTS bump

Chris Jericho calls out WWE stars for mocking his BLOOD & GUTS bump.  Jericho’s fall from the cage was heavily criticized and it appears he isn’t over it.

On May 5, AEW aired a special episode of Dynamite centered around their first and only Bloods and Guts match. While the match itself was praised the finish was heavily panned for making it obvious that Jericho had been dropped from the cage onto a crash pad.

The fact that commentators kept repeating that Jericho fell through steel didn’t help their cause. A few WWE stars such as Shotzi Blackheart and Shayna Baszler commentated on the finish and it appears that Jericho hasn’t taken very kindly to them.

While speaking on Jericho termed his fall during the Bloods and Guts much as the worst bump in his career. He then directed his attention towards WWE talent who mocked the finish to the match.

“So people laugh at that sort of stuff but there’s no reason to because this is the real deal and it can happen at any time. Best of luck to anybody in our business, and anybody that bags on somebody who’s taking a chance and putting their bodies on the line can really f*ck off, especially people in the business.

“I could say some names. There’s a couple of chicks in WWE who said some stuff and they should probably not have said that. They probably weren’t trained any better, and in 6 months they’ll probably be asking us for a job anyways and I’ll remember that, so we’ll leave it at that.”

In response, Blackheart has retweeted the tweet that caused this reaction from Jericho in the first place.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
